1girl, no humans, feral, black panther, female panther, quadruped, large feline, glossy black fur, white fur patch around left eye, asymmetrical facial marking, green eyes, lying, on side, on grass, bound, restrained, bolas, bolas cords wrapped around forelegs, hind legs bound together, three stone weights, rope muzzle, muzzle tied shut, rope wrapped around snout, rope bite between jaws, villagers tying rope, human hands on rope, kneeling villager, brown-skinned hands, african village, background, mud-brick huts, thatched roofs, acacia tree, savanna, low sun, sidelighting, golden dust haze, looking at another, ears flattened, resigned expression, shallow depth of field, foreground grass blades, wide shot, from side, low angle, outdoor, daylight, warm palette, adult tags: tense, restrained, sidelong gaze, parted grass, dust motes The camera looks from ground level at a low oblique side view, so the black panther fills the lower two-thirds of the frame in profile, her left flank toward the lens. Her scar of white fur rings the left eye, breaking the glossy black coat in a single bright crescent while her right side falls into shadow. She lies full-length on flattened grass, ribs rising and sinking under the smooth pelt, forepaws stretched forward with the bolas cords cinched tight above the wrists, three stone weights sunk into the turf and trailing dirt; her hind legs are drawn up and bound at the hocks, one paw flexed uselessly against the ground. Her tail lies limp in the grass behind her. The muzzle is shut fast: a rope crosses her snout twice and cuts between her jaws, pulling the lower lip against the teeth, so the breath escapes through nostrils that flare wet and dark. Above her head, a villager kneels with both hands gripping the rope ends, twisting them taut — knuckles pale, forearms braced, the knee pressed into the grass beside the panther's skull — and a second villager stands behind with arms pulled back on the same rope, his face turned down toward the binding. The panther's one visible green eye rolls up and to the side toward the hands at her jaw, and her cheek muscle twitches as the rope bites. Behind them the African village rises in the heat shimmer: mud-brick walls, thatched cones, a low thorn fence, a single flat-topped acacia, and dust kicked up around the crowd of idle onlookers kept at a distance in soft focus by the shallow depth of field. The sun sits low at frame right, striking the white eye patch and the rim of black fur along her spine with a glossy golden edge, casting a long shadow of her bound body and the villagers' legs across the grass; the huts and tree fall into the warm, dusty darkness behind. Colours strip to glossy black, sun-bleached grass green, ochre earth, and the pale rope and stones. The dust hanging in the air reveals the wind's feathered drift, and the grass bends flat where her weight presses. Wronged dignity, heavy with heat.
