The boy — blond, long hair tied in a low ponytail, the red cap with its white front panel and brim pushed back off his forehead, blue eyes under a lowered brow, a red-brown jacket hanging open on thick shoulders, black fingerless gloves gripping the edge of the metal locker at his hip — is caught between retreat and want: weight on his back foot, jaw tight, mouth slightly open on a held breath, a faint flush along his cheekbones, and the sweat on his neck catching the overhead tube light. His gaze stays locked on her eyes, unblinking. She is the one in control of the space: muscular and heavy-set, thick arms and thick thighs, a black leotard and dark sheer pantyhose stretched over heavy hips, long crimson elbow gloves running past the elbow, a dented piece of bronze shoulder-and-chest armor strapped over the leotard, huge breasts filling the plates, a black hair ribbon cinching her blond ponytail so it spills over one armored shoulder. She stands over him with her weight committed onto her front foot, one gloved palm cupping his cheek with the thumb pressed under his jaw, lifting his chin — her other arm braced flat against the locker beside his head, elbow locked, boxing him in. Her blue eyes look straight down into his, half-lidded and smug, the corner of her mouth pulled up in a small knowing smirk; her body is close enough that their chests nearly touch. Behind his hips, out of his sight, her gloved hand is clamped on the seat of his pants, fingers digging in and the fabric pulled taut and creased around her grip — the one touch he hasn't registered yet, which tells the whole story of who is in charge. The fluorescent tubes above run in a row down the ceiling and lay hard white highlight lines along the tops of the lockers, her armored shoulder and her shoulder cap, with the undersides of everything sinking into the cool grey shadow; the wet tiled floor throws a soft doubled reflection of both figures. Palette restricted to cold slate grey, industrial green and white tile, with red and crimson — his cap, his jacket, her gloves, the ribbon — as the only warm saturated notes. Cinematic close framing on faces, hands and contact, background lockers simplified into cool vertical bands. Quiet heat, tender and charged.
