More to See

giant, giantess, female giant, 1girl, solo, kneeling, crouching down, leaning forward, forest, feeding bunnies, rabbits, many rabbits, fluffle of rabbits, small animals eating from her hand, open palm, tilted head, gentle expression, soft smile, looking down, looking at another, long hair, flowing hair, from above, high angle, wide shot, nature, trees, grass, moss Seen from above, high over a clearing in an old forest, the camera looks down a steep diagonal: a colossal young woman kneels in the moss between the trunks, one knee driven into the soft ground with the other foot planted behind her, her hips settled back on that heel so that her torso tips forward over the grass. Both forearms come down across her thighs, elbows soft, and she holds one open palm flat a hand's width above the ground, fingers slightly spread and still, while she drops pinches of seed and berries from her other fingertips into it. Down in that clearing a fluffle of some eight or nine brown rabbits crowds her palm and the grass around her wrist, front paws up on the side of her hand, noses working, one leveret stretched tall on its hind legs to reach her smallest finger, another nudging in under her knuckles; their ears swivel and one ear of the nearest rabbit folds back as it chews. Her loose hair hangs forward off her shoulders into the gap between her arms, the ends drifting just above the moss and stirring the loose seed husks; her skirt bunches and creases where her thigh folds over the calf, and the fabric prints a shallow flattened patch in the moss under her knee where the ground has given way. Her face is turned down toward the rabbits, chin dipped, eyes half-lowered onto the hand they feed from, one corner of her mouth lifted in a faint closed-lip smile, breath easing; her scale reads in the proportion of her hand to their whole bodies and in the fact that a fallen trunk beside her lies below the level of her knee. Broad shafts of late sunlight break through the canopy from the upper right, striking the tops of her shoulders, the crown of her hair, her forearm and the flattened grass, while her chest, lap and the rabbits beneath her palm sit in the shadow she herself casts; wherever a sunspot reaches between her fingers it falls in small bright particles on the moss, and the dust motes drifting in the beams hang visibly still. The trees recede in layered masses of green and deep brown with the far ones simplified into dim silhouettes, leaving a wide ring of cleared moss and a few mushrooms around the two of them as negative space, and the undergrowth crowds in softly at the frame edges. The palette is forest green, wet moss, warm bark brown, her pale skin and off-white skirt, and the gold of the sunbeams, all softened toward atmospheric haze in depth. Tender, hushed.

Always take care of your furry friends!
