Sibuyan Sea
In the action of October 24, 1944, Abyssal aircraft attacked the Japanese 'Central Force' in the Sibuyan and Sulu Seas. Depicted here is the mighty battleship Yamato under attack, receiving a bomb hit near one of her turrets. This hit did not produce serious damage, and thanks to her using her oil-paper umbrella to shield from air attacks, Yamato (and most other shipgirls of the Central Force) survived. However, Yamato's sister, Musashi, wasn't quite as lucky...
