Metatron is the Archangel mentioned in the Book of Enoch and the Book of Palaces. He, along with Sandalphon, are the only Archangels who were originally human. Metatron is Enoch, the seventh patriarch after Adam. In the Hebrew scriptures, Metatron is said to have led the childre out of the wilderness. He is the first and last Archangel and oversees all the Angels and records all human actions in the book of life. He is the bridge between humanity and the divine. Metatron's Cube, also known as the Fruit of Life, is a derivative of the Tree of Life in Kabbalah. The Tree of Life was removed from the human experience when humanity fell from the Garden of Eden. Metatron's Cube is a portal to access the knowledge that the Tree of Life holds, while we are in this dimension. The truth of the ancient text lies more than what is shared in Christianity and Judaism. There are many parallels in these stories that are metaphors for how humanity is able to use the equations and mathematics based on Sacred Geometry to reach a level of consciousness. Eastern philosophy calls this experience Enlightenment. Enlightenment through meditation on Metatron’s Cube ignites a remembrance and awareness of our divine connection and opens us to the secrets of the universe. All sacred geometric Platonic solids fit into Metatron’s Cube as it is the overseer and encompasses all geometry. Ancient scholars believed that by studying sacred geometry and meditating on its patterns, inner knowledge of the Divine and our human spiritual progression could be gained. In early Kabbalistic writings, Metatron supposedly forms the cube from his Soul. Metatron is considered the Keeper of the Keys to the Universe and all that resides within it. The meaning of his name is “He who watches” or “He who serves behind the throne of God.” From Sacred Texts such as the Book of Zohar or the Book of Splendor, Archangel Metatron is known as the Recorder of our thoughts. He is the Archangel to whom the First Sephirah or Sphere of Kether is assigned, and the Name of his Order of Angels is the Seraphim.
