A gorgeous woman sitting halfway up a staircase that disappears into enormous swirling brushstrokes above her, one leg hanging over the edge while she turns backward toward the viewer, long black hair cascading over one shoulder, wearing an elaborate deep-blue gown with silver embroidery and translucent sleeves. Every step gradually dissolves into loose strokes of blue, violet, white, and gold until the staircase becomes pure paint, strong upward perspective, huge areas of negative space, thick oil texture, visible palette-knife marks, dreamlike sense of ascending into another world.
