Red Queen Caste: Xia Assumptions: Person’s Heart, Dreams and Passion, Wood Shape. Character Concept: Battle Seeker The Red Queen was born for battle quite literally. Then again the concept of the figurative and the literal can easily blur for fae. But she was created via Ecstatic Reproduction Style by a noble called the White King and was among the advanced forces of shaped fae crossed into Creation to make it possible for the Unshaped to cross over. She is an abomination by fae standards that has taken on permanent mutations for power but thus can never become Unshaped again. In her battles during the Crusade she developed the mutation for integrating Creation’s martial arts and ate the souls of many martial artists to learn their skills. Among her secrets is that her primary assumption is Person’s Heart. She would choose the ideal opponent and usually kill them herself making her need to find a new host before Creation’s reality crushed her. That was not an issue in the peak of the Crusade, even if she was short of Creation-born enemies, the Wyld was washing over Creation. But once the Crusade was over, the Wyld retreated and the battles came to an end so she preserved her host as a Red King who she extended the life of and kept him mostly pacified so she could exist freely. Her sire the White King discovered that and used her host as a hostage for a short time for her to cooperate with his plans. She died from a player Solar seeking vengeance for her sacrificing a thousand Creation-born to generate a Break-Through. She is modeled slightly after the concept of a Leánnan sidhe for her assumption of Person’s Heart and named after the Red Queen from Through the Looking Glass.
