【格ゲー】ティア・ラングレー（ブレイカーズ）／Tia Langley（Breakers）

【概要】

このキャラクターは今は消滅したゲーム開発大手『ビスコ』より『SNK(旧社)』経由で作成した1996年リリースの対戦格闘ゲーム『ブレイカーズ』の紅一点・ティア・ラングレーをモデルとしたLoRAです。ちなみにティアには前大会以降から失踪中の兄の行方を求めて、母国のキックボクシング『ムエタイ』を身に付けて今回の大会へ出場した経緯があるとの事です。

『ブレイカーズシリーズ』では全キャラクター総じて(最終ボスの黄白虎(ホァン・パイフー)も例に漏れず)『コンパチ色の強いキャラクター』で構成されており、ティアも手技では飛び道具の『ラピッド・ゲイル』(元は『ストリートファイターシリーズ』のチャーリー・ナッシュ及びガイルの『ソニックブーム』)や対空技の『ライジング・アッパー』(元は同作のリュウ&ケン・マスターズの『昇竜拳』)、足技では立ち技の『ミラージュ・スピア・キック』(元は同作の春麗の『百裂脚』)や突進技の『ソル・スパイク』(元は『餓狼伝説シリーズ』のテリー・ボガードの同系統技『クラックシュート』)など、結構な数にコンパチ要素のがありながら、その『美しさを秘めた最強の舞姫』の異名通りのマイナー作ながら高いキャラクター人気を現在進行形で慕われています。

This character is a LoRA (Lord of the Rings) modeled after Tia Langley, the only female character in the 1996 fighting game "Breakers," created by the now-defunct game development giant "Visco" via "SNK (the former company)." Incidentally, Tia has been searching for her brother, who has been missing since the previous tournament, and has taken up Muay Thai (a form of kickboxing from her home country) to participate in this tournament.

In the Breakers series, all characters (including the final boss Huang Pai-Fu) are largely based on other characters, and Tia is no exception. Her hand techniques include the projectile Rapid Gale (originally Charlie Nash and Guile's Sonic Boom from the Street Fighter series) and the anti-air Rising Upper (originally Ryu & Ken Masters' Shoryuken from the same game), as well as her leg techniques include the standing Mirage Spear Kick (originally Chun-Li's Hundred Rending Kick from the same game) and the rushing Sol Spike (originally Terry Bogard's Crack Shoot from the Fatal Fury series). Despite having a considerable number of similar elements, she remains a highly popular character despite being from a relatively minor game, living up to her nickname as "the strongest dancer with hidden beauty."
