Seen from a low angle looking upward in a dynamic cowboy shot, a lean, short-statured man stands poised on the edge of a massive, weathered stone battlement. His weight is anchored firmly on his forward right boot, his torso angled slightly three-quarters while his head turns to cast a piercing, cold glare straight down toward the viewer through heavy, hooded eyelids. His jet-black hair is styled in a clean undercut with shaved sides, while straight, parted dark locks fall forward over his brow and temple. He wears a fitted, cropped tan uniform jacket over a crisp white collared shirt, inside of which a neatly folded white cravat is tightly tucked at his throat. A complex network of dark brown leather harness straps crosses tightly over his shoulders, chest, and hips, buckling securely around his thighs and white trousers. Draped over his shoulders is a heavy forest-green hooded cloak, its hem sweeping sharply backward in the strong updraft rising against the sheer vertical face of the wall. His left gloved hand rests flat against the chipped stone parapet, fingers spread against the cold granite, while his right arm hangs tense and ready at his side. The overcast sky above provides a cool, diffused overhead key light, carving sharp, angular cel-shading beneath his cheekbones, brow, and jawline, accented by crisp dark contour linework and dense graphic hatching within the deepest shadow creases. The palette is strictly restrained to muted olive-greens, dry leathery tans, weathered slate greys, and stark whites beneath a desaturated, cloud-heavy sky, with fine flecks of windblown stone dust caught in the draft around his silhouette. Unflinching resolve.
