今回、調べてみて初めて知ったのですがアメリカライオンとか言いながら実はピューマだという事を初めて知って、良く無事だった改めて思ってしまいましたｗ この子達はかなり臆病で余程の事がないと襲われないのとの事ですが、犬と同じで走って逃げると追いかけてくるそうです(ノД`)・゜・。 I only just found out while looking into this that the so-called "American lion" is actually a cougar; it really made me realize all over again just how lucky I was to come out of that safe and sound. Apparently, they are quite timid and won't attack unless something extreme happens, but—much like dogs—if you run away, they’ll chase after you.
