A lone World War II infantry soldier stands silently upon an empty hilltop overlooking an endless battlefield at twilight. Tiny glowing embers scatter through the atmosphere, mixing with drifting ash and dust particles that catch the sunlight. The soldier remains completely motionless, dwarfed by the incomprehensible scale unfolding overhead.
