💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 I Only Want to Know You Are Safe The magical glow gradually faded away. After Luka returned to her original size, everything around them finally began to feel familiar again. Everyone’s bodies also started returning to normal. The once enormous tabletop became an ordinary table again, and the scattered decorations were no longer dangerous obstacles. However, Gakupo’s attention was not focused on any of those changes. His eyes remained fixed on Luka. “Luka.” He called her softly. Luka looked up. “Yes?” Gakupo stepped closer. “Let me check something.” Luka blinked. “Check?” Gakupo nodded. “Yes.” “You just returned suddenly. Although you seem fine, I want to make sure one more time.” Seeing his serious expression, Luka couldn’t help but smile. “You really were worried about me.” “Mm.” Gakupo did not deny it. He first checked her arms. “Does this feel uncomfortable?” Luka shook her head. “No.” Then he looked at her legs. “Does standing feel strange?” Luka followed his request and carefully took a few steps. “No. Everything feels normal.” Gakupo still did not look completely reassured. “Your head? Any dizziness?” “No.” “Your vision? Is everything clear?” “Yes.” After answering all his questions, Luka looked at his serious expression and finally laughed softly. “Gakupo.” “Yes?” “I really am fine.” Gakupo paused. “I know.” “But just now, you were so small.” His voice became gentler. “And the magic happened so suddenly.” Luka quietly listened. She knew Gakupo was not doubting her. He was simply worried because, when she disappeared into that light, he had truly been afraid. “So that’s why you keep checking.” Luka said softly. Gakupo nodded. “Yes.” “I wanted to make sure you really came back.” Hearing those words, Luka’s expression softened. “I’m right here.” She smiled. “I really did come back.” Gakupo looked at her. After a moment, he finally showed a relieved smile. “Good.” But the next second, as if remembering something, he looked at her again. “Wait.” Luka blinked. “What is it?” “There is one more thing.” “What?” Gakupo carefully looked at her again. “Are you really sure you don’t feel uncomfortable anywhere?” Luka stared for a moment. Then she couldn’t help but laugh. “Gakupo.” “Didn’t you just ask me that?” “I know.” Gakupo looked slightly embarrassed. “But I wanted to confirm it one more time.” Luka shook her head with a smile. “No.” “Really no.” “I’m completely fine.” This time, Gakupo finally relaxed. He nodded. “That’s good.” --- Watching the two of them, everyone nearby smiled. Miku whispered: “Gakupo was really worried about Luka.” MEIKO nodded. “Ever since the magic started, almost all of his attention was on Luka.” Rin smiled. “After all, the first thing he did was catch her.” Len nodded. “And he kept checking whether she was hurt.” Teto hugged her penguin companion and spoke seriously. “This is a very thorough safety confirmation process.” MEIKO looked at her. “You’re naming things again.” “But it fits.” Everyone couldn’t help but laugh. --- Only after confirming that Luka had truly returned to normal did Gakupo’s gaze finally fall onto the penguin companion in her arms. He quietly looked at it for a while. Luka noticed. “What’s wrong?” Gakupo slightly looked away. “Nothing.” But after a short pause, he continued: “Actually…” Luka looked at him. “Yes?” Gakupo looked at the penguin. “I want to ask something.” “What is it?” His voice was much gentler than before. “Later…” “Would it be possible for us to exchange penguins?” Luka was slightly surprised. She quickly understood what he meant. Gakupo looked at her. “We promised before, didn’t we?” “After you returned to your original size…” He paused. “I wanted to hold the penguin you made for me.” Luka’s eyes softened. She looked at Gakupo. “You remembered all this time.” Gakupo nodded. “Because it is the feeling you prepared for me.” Luka smiled. “Of course.” She looked down at the penguin in her arms, then back at Gakupo. “However…” Gakupo looked slightly surprised. “Yes?” Luka smiled. “Let’s not rush.” “A lot has happened today.” “I want everyone to return safely first, and I want everyone to feel at ease.” Gakupo nodded. “You’re right.” He did not try to take it. He simply quietly looked at the promise that would soon be completed. Seeing his expression, Luka couldn’t help but smile. “You’re actually looking forward to it, aren’t you?” Gakupo was silent for a moment. Then he honestly answered: “Yes.” Luka smiled even more. “I knew it.” She held the penguin gently. “When everyone is ready, we’ll complete that promise.” Gakupo nodded. “Okay.” This time, he was not simply waiting for a gift. He was waiting for a gentle moment that belonged to the two of them. And that moment would arrive soon.
