A fallen angel who once belonged to the angelic hierarchy, he now commands 30 legions as a Great President of Hell. When summoned, he appears in the form of a thrush or a blackbird, though he can transform into a human wielding a sharp sword if commanded to do so. In the *Dictionnaire Infernal*, he is depicted as a man adorned with peacock tail feathers, dressed much like a carnival participant. In his human form, he answers questions from amidst blazing ash and burning coals. He is well-versed in the languages ​​of birds and beasts as well as the sounds of water, and is said to offer accurate counsel regarding the future.
