Bermen is one of the characters from the story of Forau and Leriana. For this illustration, I wanted to show him in a more ceremonial and imposing moment, wearing an ornate golden version of his armor while kneeling with his sword before him. Rather than portraying him in battle, I imagined Bermen making a solemn knight’s oath — a quiet moment that reflects his experience, strength, and sense of duty. I really liked how the golden armor, the light coming from above, and his serious expression came together in the final result.
