Ethan was quiet all morning, barely responding when Chloe spoke to him, and once he was dressed he headed out to the balcony. Chloe watched him for a while through the window, then decided to let him have a moment to clear his mind and went to make coffee. Once the coffee was ready, she poured two cups and went to the balcony as well. "I don't regret last night," she said without preamble. "And I hope you don't, either." That finally made him turn around. "Chloe, I—" he began, then shook his head in frustration. "Of course I don't regret it." Chloe smiled and held one of the mugs towards him. "I think we should talk... after we've had some coffee and we're both properly awake."
