【LORA】Stolas (Goetia)

〇 Stolas (Goetia) One of the 72 demons listed in the *Goetia* (and Johann Weyer's *Pseudomonarchia Daemonum*). He is a Great Prince of Hell commanding 26 legions and holds the 36th rank in the demonic hierarchy. While the *Goetia* states that he appears as a night-heron when summoned, Collin de Plancy's *Dictionnaire Infernal* describes him as appearing in the form of an owl. As I am personally more familiar with the depiction in the *Dictionnaire Infernal*, I have adopted the owl form here. Since the *Dictionnaire Infernal* portrays him as an owl wearing a crown, I created the image based on that description. He is well-versed in astronomy but possesses particular expertise regarding plants and minerals (such as gemstones), allowing him to manipulate the earth-elemental powers derived from them. In the Demon World, he holds doctorates in botany and mineralogy and serves as the Section Chief of the Environmental Geology Survey Division within the Environmental Bureau, overseeing the eastern region. In recent years, he has taken a deep interest in the nature-worship cultures of the human world; he has published books on the subject and gained popularity among female demons. It is said that on his days off, he withdraws from worldly affairs to immerse himself in nature and cleanse both body and mind.
