The beach was livelier than usual today, as everyone had gathered to celebrate a joint birthday party for Hatsune Miku and Hazuki. Their birthdays were only one day apart, so everyone decided to celebrate them together. In the center of the beach stood a birthday table with a large birthday cake on it. Written clearly on the cake were the words: “Happy Birthday Miku & Hazuki” Miku and Hazuki stood in front of the birthday table, while Kamui Gakupo, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Kaito, Meiko, Kasane Teto, and Otomachi Una stood around them in their swimsuits, each holding a gift for the two birthday girls. Gakupo was the first to offer his birthday wishes, holding his gift and smiling gently. “Happy Birthday, Miku and Hazuki. I hope today becomes a wonderful memory for you.” “Thank you!” Miku replied with a smile. Hazuki looked at the two of them. “Then let’s just have fun today.” Kaito then offered his birthday wishes. “Happy Birthday, Miku and Hazuki. I hope you’ll always keep smiling in the days ahead.” Meiko smiled as well. “Happy Birthday to both of you. Enjoy the party to the fullest today.” The two birthday girls thanked them once again. Then Teto stepped forward with her gift. “Miku! Hazuki! Happy Birthday!” She smiled especially brightly. “I hope you eat lots of delicious food and have tons of fun today!” Otomachi Una also offered her birthday wishes from beside them. “Happy Birthday, Miku and Hazuki! I hope you have an unforgettable birthday!” Finally, everyone gathered around the birthday table. They all looked toward Miku and Hazuki. “Happy Birthday, Miku!” “Happy Birthday, Hazuki!” The two birthday girls stood in front of the cake, looking at all their familiar friends with happy smiles. Miku clasped her hands together in front of her chest. “Thank you, everyone! I’m really happy that I get to celebrate my birthday with all of you!” Hazuki looked around at everyone. Under the sunlight, with the sound of the waves and everyone’s laughter filling the beach, they gathered around the birthday cake that read “Happy Birthday Miku & Hazuki”, celebrating this special day together with the two birthday girls. --- 日本語 ビーチでのバースデーパーティー 午後の日差しが青く輝く海を照らし、穏やかな波が砂浜へと寄せていた。今日はいつも以上にビーチが賑やかだった。Hatsune MikuとHazukiの合同誕生日パーティーを、みんなで開いているからだ。 二人の誕生日は一日違い。そこで、みんなで一緒にお祝いすることになった。 砂浜の中央にはバースデーテーブルが置かれ、その上には大きなバースデーケーキが用意されていた。ケーキには、はっきりとこう書かれている。 「Happy Birthday Miku & Hazuki」 MikuとHazukiがバースデーテーブルの前に立ち、その周りには水着姿のKamui Gakupo、Megurine Luka、Kagamine Rin、Kagamine Len、Kaito、Meiko、Kasane Teto、Otomachi Unaが集まっていた。みんな、それぞれ二人へのプレゼントを手にしている。 最初にGakupoが二人へプレゼントを差し出しながら、穏やかに微笑んだ。 「Miku、Hazuki、誕生日おめでとう。今日は二人とも、思いっきり楽しい一日を過ごしてくれ。」 「ありがとう、Gakupo！」 Mikuが嬉しそうに答える。 Hazukiも微笑んで頷いた。 「ありがとう。」 続いてLukaが二人の前へ歩み寄り、優しく二人を見つめる。 「Miku、Hazuki、誕生日おめでとう。今日みたいに、これからも毎日たくさんの幸せな思い出を作っていってね。」 「ありがとう、Luka！」 Mikuは満面の笑みを浮かべる。 Hazukiも小さく頷いた。 「覚えておく。」 Rinは待ちきれない様子で、すぐに二人のところへ駆け寄った。 「Miku！ Hazuki！ 誕生日おめでとう！」 嬉しそうに笑いながら、Rinは続ける。 「今日は思いっきり楽しんでね！」 Lenも続いて二人へ声をかけた。 「二人とも誕生日おめでとう。今日が素敵な思い出になるといいね。」 「ありがとう！」 Mikuが笑顔で答える。 Hazukiも二人を見ながら言った。 「じゃあ、今日は思いっきり遊ぼう。」 続いてKaitoが二人へ祝福の言葉を贈る。 「Miku、Hazuki、誕生日おめでとう。これからもずっと笑顔でいてくれることを願っているよ。」 Meikoも笑顔で続ける。 「二人とも誕生日おめでとう。今日はこのパーティーを思いっきり楽しんでね。」 二人は改めてみんなにお礼を伝えた。 そしてTetoがプレゼントを抱えて二人の前へやって来る。 「Miku！ Hazuki！ 誕生日おめでとう！」 Tetoはとびきり嬉しそうな笑顔を浮かべる。 「今日はいっぱい食べて、いっぱい遊んで、楽しい一日にしてね！」 その隣からOtomachi Unaも二人へお祝いの言葉を贈った。 「Miku、Hazuki、誕生日おめでとう！ 忘れられない素敵な誕生日になりますように！」 最後には、みんながバースデーテーブルの周りに集まった。 全員がMikuとHazukiへ視線を向ける。 「Miku、誕生日おめでとう！」 「Hazuki、誕生日おめでとう！」 二人はケーキの前に立ち、目の前にいる大切な仲間たちを見つめながら、嬉しそうな笑顔を浮かべていた。 Mikuは胸の前で両手を合わせる。 「みんな、ありがとう！ みんなと一緒に誕生日をお祝いできて、本当に嬉しい！」 Hazukiはみんなを見渡した。 普段の自由奔放で予測不能な表情は、今だけは穏やかに和らいでいる。 「みんな、私たちのために誕生日パーティーを開いてくれてありがとう。」 Hazukiは微笑んだ。 「今日は思いっきり楽しむよ。」 みんなが再び楽しそうに笑った。 太陽の光と波の音、そして仲間たちの笑い声に包まれながら、みんなは 「Happy Birthday Miku & Hazuki」 と書かれたバースデーケーキを囲み、二人の特別な誕生日を一緒に祝った。
