A Humbling Stroll (OCs) / 謙虚なお散歩（オリキャラ）

Dystean said to her friend. 「……それに何でそんなに気にしてるわけ？ あんた、自分の特集が組まれた雑誌を丸ごと一冊もらったんでしょ」ディスティアンは友人に言った。 "Wha—" A surprised look on her face, "How do you know about that—" 「はっ──」驚きの表情を浮かべる。「なんであんたがそのこと知って──」 The girl flicked her friend atop the head, "You'd be hard pressed to find anyone in the Agency who doesn't." 少女は友人の頭を軽く小突いた。「機関の中でそのことを知らない奴を探す方が難しいよ」 A look of clear panic started to form on her friend's face, "Wh— What? They told me it was only going to be overseas.." 友人の顔にあからさまな動揺が広がり始める。「え──何それ？ 海外限定の掲載だって言われたのに……」 "..We're an international agency, goofball.." 「……うちら、国際的な機関なんだけど。おトボケさん」 "B—but.." 「だ──だけど……」 "..'An interview with the Supernatural Protection Agency's most blindingly beautiful woman', was its name, right?" 「……『超常保護機関（SPA）で最も目を奪われるほどの美女へのインタビュー』、確かそんなタイトルだったよね？」 "...." A panicked silence followed. 「……」パニックによる沈黙が続いた。 "...Reaaal humble of you, huh." 「……へえ、随分と『謙虚』なことで」 "Hey! I didn't name it that! They did! I just gave my oka—" The girl cut herself off mid word, "...shit" 「ちょっと！ 私がそんなタイトルつけたわけじゃないよ！ あっちが勝手にやったの！ 私はただ許可（オッケー）を出しただ──」少女は言葉の途中でハッと口を噤んだ。「……やばっ」 "What was that?" 「今なんて？」 "..nothing" 「……何でもない」 A faint smile on Dystean's face, "...You know I'm thinking maybe I should message them, as a fellow member of the Agency, maybe ask them to change it to 'An interview with the humblest member of the Supernatural Protection Agency', I think it'd be a good idea." ディスティアンの顔に微かな笑みが浮かぶ。「……ねえ、同じ機関のメンバーとして、あっちの出版社にメッセージを送ってみようかな。『超常保護機関（SPA）で最も謙虚なメンバーへのインタビュー』に変更してくださいって。いいアイデアだと思わない？」 The panic in her face was visible, "Y—you—" she'd practically stammer out the words, "You.." 彼女の顔の焦りは一目瞭然だった。「あ、あんた──」言葉をまともに紡げず、吃る。「よくも……」 ..She let out a sigh of defeat, "..you weren't supposed to see that." a faint blush on her face, as Dystean giggled in response. ……彼女は諦めたように敗北の溜め息をついた。「……あんたには見られたくなかったのに」顔をほんのり赤らめる彼女を見て、ディスティアンはクスリと笑った。 "I could tell. Sadly, everyone's seen it now, not just me. Enjoy your new hell at work, 'most blindingly beautiful woman', Iris." 「伝わってくるよ。残念ながら、私だけじゃなくて全員がもう見てるけどね。職場での新しい地獄を楽しんでね、“最も目を奪われるほどの美女”さん──アイリス」 "Oh screw off!" 「もう、うるさいっ！」 ...Unsurprisingly enough, the title didn't last long. The teasing however, never ceased. ……当然のことながら、そのタイトルが長く残ることはなかった。しかし、彼女へのからかいが止むことは決してなかった。
