character: yoimiya_(genshin_impact), herta_(honkai:_star_rail) 1girl, 2girls, yoimiya (genshin impact), herta (honkai star rail), sinking, quicksand, waist-deep, blonde hair, ponytail, orange kimono, sarashi, purple eyes, long brown hair, black dress, purple eyes, from above, looking at each other, struggle, outdoors, nature A high-angle view looking down upon two girls trapped in a vast expanse of thick, beige quicksand. Yoimiya is submerged to her waist, her orange kimono soaked and clinging to her skin, her blonde ponytail sweeping across the surface of the sand. Beside her, Herta is sunk to the same depth, her black dress billowing slightly above the mire. Both girls are tilted toward one another, their bodies straining against the viscous pull. Yoimiya reaches out with her right hand, fingers grazing Herta's sleeve in a desperate attempt to maintain contact, while Herta's eyes are wide with alarm, staring directly into Yoimiya's orange eyes. The quicksand creates heavy, wet ripples and thick suction rings around their waists, with clumps of wet sand clinging to Herta's pale shoulders. The lighting is a harsh, overhead midday sun, casting short, dense shadows into the pits where they sink and highlighting the gritty, glistening texture of the mud. The palette is dominated by the oppressive neutral tan of the sand, contrasted sharply by the vivid orange of the kimono and the deep void-black of the dress. Desperate tension.
