The colossal bunny plush sits imperiously upright like a monarch on a throne directly over her torso and large bust, its round plush belly compressing her dress and its blank stitched face staring straight ahead. Only her head, limp arms, and outer dress flounces poke out from beneath its massive body. Her long pastel pink hair splays across the deep crimson carpet, framing a face frozen in defeat: her cheeks are puffed out round, her eyes are reduced to spinning concentric dizzy spirals, and her luminous golden ring halo hovers crookedly tilted above her head. Her white feathered angel wings rest limply against the floor, drooping flat on either side of her shoulders. Her arms lie abandoned along the runner; while one arm is completely slack, the other is lifted mere inches from the ground with fingers weakly curled in a pathetic, trembling help-me claw. Her lavish ivory and gold hime lolita gown, smothered in layered lace frills, has its enormous pannier hoops crushed flat under the plushie's bulk, sending bursts of ruffled underskirts spilling outward. Tied beneath her chin, an ornate frilled bonnet bears two long rabbit-ear ribbons that drape sideways across the carpet pile, alongside a detached small rabbit-head pochette bag squashed nearby. Around the collision site, several tall gilded candlesticks lie overturned across the red runner; their extinguished wicks trail thin curling ribbons of gray smoke toward the high vaulted ceiling, while dollops of warm tallow harden into milky, translucent discs upon the woven wool fibers. Surviving wall sconces down the ornate hall cast warm golden candlelight across the rumpled satin, plush fleece, and gilded moldings, leaving long shadows that pool into the midnight darkness beyond the arched palace windows. Comedic regal slapstick.
