character: jeanne_d'arc_(madoka_magica), zerg_(starcraft), copyright: starcraft 1girl, solo, silver hair, single braid, long braid, ahoge, green eyes, closed eyes, sleeping, peaceful expression, brown bodysuit, zerg bodysuit, white accents, skin-tight suit, organic carapace armor, zerg angel wings, white membranous wings, wing membranes, curled wings folded around body, lying down, curled up, floating, submerged to the chest, spawning pool, zerg chrysalis background, organic pod walls, translucent membrane, bioluminescent glow, from above, high angle, looking down, foreshortening, wide shot, dark ambient, green and amber glow, korean anime style, polished linework, muted palette, subtle gradients From a high overhead angle the camera looks steeply down into the spawning pool, and a single silver-haired girl sleeps curled at its center. Her silver hair is gathered into one long single braid that runs down across the water and floats outward in a slow curl, loose strands drifting; a short ahoge springs up from the crown and trembles above the surface. Her eyes are shut, lashes resting against her cheeks, lips slightly parted with the slack breath of deep sleep, water beaded at her temple. She wears a brown zerg body skin suit, the living carapace adhered to every contour of her back and limbs in overlapping ridged plates, with white edited bands of bone-pale chitin running along the seams of her ribs, her hips, and the inner lines of her arms; the suit surfaces break the water and sheen wet. From her shoulder blades two zerg angel wings unfurl, membranous and veined, their upper edges ridged with white-tipped spines, already half-curled forward to cradle her sleeping body. She lies on her right side, knees drawn up toward her chest, one arm bent with the hand resting palm-up beside her cheek just above the waterline, the other hand submerged and splayed open against the pool floor; her shoulder and hip rest against the shallow basin bed, so that the water lapping at her chest and flank dimples and parts around every contact point. Her wings and the flat of her back are the highest surfaces, and pale droplets bead thickest there, sliding down the ridged carapace in thin trails while thin ripples fan out in perfect rings from each place her body meets the water. Around and behind her the chamber is a ring of zerg chrysalis walls, ribbed organic pods and translucent membranes swollen with silhouetted dormant forms, their surfaces clustered in amber and jade bioluminescence that is the scene's only light; the light falls from those pod walls rather than above, catching the white seam lines of her suit and the wet crown of her braid while the hollow of the pool beneath her body sinks into deep shadow. The palette stays brown, bone-white, and the cold green-amber of the cysts, with her silver hair and green-eyed sleeping face the only cool note. Faint steam hangs over the water's surface. Serene, suspended.
