Devilman's True Form Unleashed!

I've always been captivated by the raw, chaotic power of Devilman, and this design really captures that intense, monstrous energy. The striking green skin and glowing eyes against the dark wings just hit different for me. If you love this demonic vibe as much as I do, please like, follow, and drop a comment below for more art!

character: devilman_(character), copyright: devilman solo, 1 character, demon creature, non-human, humanoid demon, green and black color scheme, green eyes, glowing green eyes, sharp fangs, clawed hands, clawed feet, long tail, curved horns, large bat wings, hi-tech cyber armor, segmented black armor plating, neon green circuitry lines, green glowing armor seams, reference sheet, multiple views, concept art, character design, redesign, full body, white background, no humans, front view, side view, back view, three-quarter view, detail inset, close-up of head, dynamic action pose, standing at rest pose, wings spread, tail curled, claws flexing, text, English text, bold display lettering, "devilman prototype nean cyber covers", high contrast, neon accents, pop art energy, hyper saturated colors, cel shading The image is a character reference sheet laid out on a completely empty, seamless pure-white field, nothing else present — no landscape, no floor, no horizon, no other figures of any kind. A single demon creature occupies the sheet, drawn in fully saturated green and black and nothing else beyond white negative space: deep black dominates the armor shell, the membrane of the wings and the outer hide, while vivid acid-green sits in the eyes, the skin of the exposed neck and forearms, the underside of the tail, the wing veins and the glowing filament lines running through every armor plate. The creature is rendered full body in hi-tech cyber armor — a tight black bodysuit with segmented plates across the chest, shoulders, forearms and shins, each joint broken by a fine inset green light channel; a hard armored collar rises at the neck; the plating leaves the green-skinned throat, hands and feet bare so the claws read clearly. Its head carries two curved horns sweeping back from the temples, large green eyes with slit pupils glowing under a faint rim of light, and a wide snarling mouth showing two long upper fangs and a row of smaller teeth; the pointed ear-fins flare at the jaw. Large bat wings rise behind the shoulders, the black membrane stretched between green-glowing finger bones, taloned at the top joint; a thick black tail with a green underside curls out from the lower back in a slow S and ends in a spade. Both hands hang with three long black claws half-flexed; the bare feet grip the unseen ground plane with matching claws. Four views are laid out on the sheet in a column-and-row arrangement with thin green hairline dividers: at the left a full-body front view standing square with wings half-folded and tail curved to one side, weight on the creature's right leg, left hip cocked, chin lifted, eyes angled slightly past the viewer; beside it a full-body side view in profile with the wing spread wide so the membrane catches the light and the tail extended straight behind; at the upper right a three-quarter back view showing the wing roots, the spine plate and the tail's full length swinging out; at the lower right a dynamic action pose — the creature caught mid-lunge with one clawed foot forward, torso twisted, wings flung back and one arm swiping across the frame with the claws blurred by motion. A small detail inset at the lower left magnifies the head: the green eye, the horn base and the fang over the lower lip in tight close-up. Across the top of the sheet, set in bold dark display lettering with a hard green glow edge, the title reads "devilman prototype nean cyber covers", the largest text on the page, followed on the bottom line by a smaller illegible strip of micro-caption notes, callout arrows and measurement ticks that frame each view without competing with it. The piece is lit as flat design-sheet illustration — no directional scene light, only crisp cel shading and a narrow green rim on the armor edges; hard cast shadows sit directly beneath each figure's feet so it reads as standing on the white ground plane, and one small physical tell: the green light channels on the armor bloom very slightly where they meet the black plating, brightest nearest the joints and fading along the limb. Concept-art crisp, catalogue-like, effortlessly severe.

On the left, the figure stands upright in a powerful, grounded stance, his weight balanced symmetrically between clawed, four-toed metallic feet firmly gripping the floor surface. His entire body and chiseled face are covered in overlapping black and deep royal purple metallic scales that gleam under directional studio key light. Four swept obsidian horns crown his cranium—two primary horns arching high and backward, and two secondary horns curving outward along the temples. His face features a parted jaw revealing jagged, needle-sharp interlocking teeth, and his fierce gaze locks directly onto the viewer with glowing violet irises devoid of sclera. Bright bioluminescent purple circuit-like patterns trace symmetrically across his scaly chest, collarbones, abdominal ridges, and sinewy forearms down to sharp black talons on each elongated finger. Behind his shoulders, six massive draconic wings with dark metallic struts and taut dark-purple leathery membranes sweep outward, fully unfurled across the midground. To his right, the corresponding back view shows the figure turned completely away, displaying the heavy armored spine ridges descending into a thick, scutes-covered dragon tail that drapes downward and curls gently across the ground plane behind his heels, alongside the dorsal wing roots where the six wing struts anchor into reinforced scaly shoulder blades. Neutral high-contrast studio illumination strikes the metallic edges of every scale and talon, while the purple markings emit a steady faint glow that softly bleeds light onto adjacent obsidian facets, casting crisp, localized ambient occlusion shadows directly beneath the points of each grounded toe claw. Imposing, lethal.

1boy, male focus, demon, devil trigger, concept art, character sheet, multiple views, front view, back view, standing, full body, tall, five horns, black scales, dark purple scales, metallic skin, scaly face, purple eyes, glowing eyes, sharp teeth, clawed hands, clawed feet, dragon tail, four wings, large wings, glowing patterns, simple background, neutral dark background A dual-view concept art character design sheet presented side-by-side against a neutral dark slate studio sweep, depicting a tall, imposing male demon in devil trigger form seen in complete full body from both front and back views. On the left, the front view stands tall with a grounded, wide-legged stance, shifting weight evenly across thick, heavy-taloned clawed feet that grip the floor. Five sweeping demonic horns crown the head: a jagged central horn flanked by two large curved main horns sweeping upward and backward, accompanied by two lower angular brow horns. The entire face and muscular physique are clad in interlocking black and dark purple metallic scales with sharp beveled facets that catch crisp directional key lights. The jaw is slightly dropped to expose rows of gleaming, razor-sharp serrated teeth, framed by intense, unblinking luminous purple eyes. Intricate bioluminescent purple circuit-like patterns glow brightly across the chest, shoulders, forearms, and thighs, casting faint violet ambient light onto the surrounding dark scales. Muscular arms hang slightly away from the torso, terminating in heavy hands tipped with elongated metallic black claws. On the right, the back view shows the figure from behind in identical scale and upright posture, showcasing the dorsal anatomy and flight appendages. Sprouting from the upper and mid-back are four large draconic wings spread wide to reveal their full span: two dominant upper wings arching upward with ribbed joints and torn leathery dark purple membranes, and two secondary lower wings flaring downward. The spine features a row of raised metallic dorsal ridges running down to the sacrum, where a thick, heavily plated dragon tail emerges and coils sinuously along the floor plane. The back of the skull shows the seamless rooted anchor points of all five horns curving backward over the nape. Studio rim lighting outlines the metallic silhouettes against the dark void, producing specular glints on the scale edges while soft drop shadows ground the clawed feet, contrasting hard metallic surfaces against pulsing inner violet luminescence. Formidable, anatomical precision.

The composition places two full-length figures side-by-side to showcase complete anatomical design. In the front view on the left, the figure stands upright in an imposing grounded stance with arms resting angled outward, displaying broad shoulders, a scaly face plated in interlocking dark purple and obsidian metallic scales, and an arrangement of five swept-back demon horns crown-mounted on his skull. His glowing purple eyes fix directly ahead with an unblinking gaze, and his slightly parted mouth reveals rows of jagged, razor-sharp teeth. Glowing violet glyph patterns pulse along the contours of his muscular chest, torso, and forearms, terminating in long clawed fingers tipped with metallic talons. Three pairs of massive, leathery wings with reinforced dragon-like struts flare outward symmetrically, totaling six large wings that frame the silhouette. In the back view on the right, the character stands with his spine turned squarely to the viewer, detailing the six wing root attachments distributed down the scapula and mid-back, the uninterrupted flow of heavy metallic scales over the dorsal muscles, and the origin point of a thick, armored dragon tail that sweeps from the base of the spine down to coil along the floor. Overhead studio key lighting reflects sharp specular glints across the hard facets of the dark metallic scales, while the self-illuminating purple patterns cast a faint violet bloom onto adjacent armored plates. Imposing, otherworldly.
