Front slightly low angle action shot, centered on the sweeping curved arc of a heavy double-headed battle axe. A tall young woman stands braced with feet wide on the frozen coastal shore, her torso coiled in mid-swing as both hands grip the long wooden haft of the battle axe raised high above her head. Her face is lifted toward the camera with an untamed, laughing expression of pure excitement, mouth open in a fierce shout of laughter, bright blue eyes wide and vivid, light freckles dusted across her cheeks, and a small metal ring fitted closely to her nostril. Thick, fiery-red braids whip outward into the air from the sudden momentum of her strike. She is clad in hardened leather armor lined with thick pale fur along the neck and shoulders, worn over heavy grey wool leggings that meet sturdy leather boots crunching into the sea ice. In the midground directly behind her, the dark wooden hull and carved prow of a Norse longship sits wedged motionless in jagged shelf ice. The palette is dominated by the deep steel-blues and charcoal shadows of winter twilight, punctured by the faint emerald ribbons of northern lights shimmering across the upper sky. Fine snowflakes drift through the freezing air, their downward fall disturbed into a faint curving swirl by the fast-moving iron blade. Wildly exhilarating.
