Jade heard the music, and it called to her. It started when her uncle Jackie brought in a rare music box form Germany. He said that he was compelled to buy it after meeting the antique seller. He played the music then and there and it captivated all of them. But later that night Jade woke up when she fell to the floor next to the music box. And the next day they listen to it and as soon as the music started, she started to dance. Days passed and she changed becoming more graceful waking up on the box every night and dressed up in different clothes. Every time this happened she would swear to tell Tohru and Uncle but every day before she could even speak the music started and she would dance. Then one day she woke up on the music box again with her family looking at her and she was wearing her pointes and tutu. Wait her pointes and tutu? Before she can voice her question her music box key is turn and she dances. She dances on top of her music box. All day they keep her key turn to keep it playing. They would feed her but as soon as she tried to step away they would start the music, and she would dance. Then at night when they went to bed her key stopped, and she just stay up there and fell asleep. When she woke up, she did it all again. And this became her routine. And over time she became more in tuned with her music box. Then one day while dancing a man comes in and buys her music box with her on it. And she goes with it. And no one questions it, not even her. And thus, she goes with the man and is just about to leave never to see her uncles or Tohru again when Captain Black steps out with Section 13. They arrest her owner. Why does that feel wrong? And take her back to Section 13. There she learns that Uncle and Tohru suspected that the music box was magical and gave Captain Black the details and way to block the magic. But the magic affected all of them. Her family was conditioned to see her as the music box ballerina. And she was conditioned to be the music box ballerina. Her now imprisoned owner was part of a major human trafficking ring. Until they can reverse the effects the music box will be kept in protective custodied as well as its ballerina. Not that she minds to much as they let her dance in a soundproof room. But with cameras to watch her perform.
