A striking screen-print style poster illustration: ONE portrait of ONE young male rock vocalist filling the entire frame, drawn as if printed on a mirror that has been shattered — the picture plane itself is cut into shards, and along every crack the single image SLIPS slightly out of register. There is only ONE figure, ONE face, ONE body in this image — never duplicated, never repeated, no extra faces anywhere.
How the shatter works (follow this optical rule exactly): imagine the finished portrait was drawn first, then the sheet was broken into large angular fragments and reassembled almost — but not quite — correctly. Thin WHITE crack lines radiate from an impact point near the upper right, dividing the whole frame edge-to-edge into big shards. WITHIN each shard the drawing is continuous and normal; only AT the crack lines does the image break: contours arrive at a crack and continue on the other side shifted a few millimeters sideways or rotated a few degrees — the line of the jaw steps off the neck, the collarbone misaligns with the shoulder, a lock of hair jumps sideways, the microphone cable kinks where it crosses a fracture. Small slivers between big shards may go solid black or catch a pale glare, like fragments tilted away from the light. The overall figure must still read INSTANTLY as one continuous person — the dislocations are subtle, unsettling on second look, never chaotic. Do NOT scatter floating glass pieces around the figure; do NOT draw multiple copies of the face; the cracks live ON the image plane itself.
The single figure: a lean young man arched backward mid-performance, filling the frame from thigh to thrown-back head — chin high, face tipped up and toward the viewer, one eye slyly open, the other shut, a wide grin with teeth; sharp jaw, shaggy jet-black hair, a thin braid with a teal ribbon at his temple. Crimson silk shirt hanging open off one shoulder, black leather trousers, long black gloves, studded choker; one gloved hand grips a microphone down by his thigh, cable trailing to the bottom edge.
Style: flat cel/screen-print rendering — hard clean edges, two-tone knife-sharp shading, no gradients; skin in cold lilac-grey, shadow masses in solid black; palette locked to black / white crack lines / crimson / one teal accent; bold negative space, alternative-movie-poster finish with faint paper texture.
Atmosphere: glamorous and menacing — one performer, one reflection, coming apart along invisible seams at the moment of applause; tall poster framing, black dominating the edges.
