Story chapter 31: Back To The Cell

Haruka walked slowly through the cold stone corridors, the knight following closely behind her. With every step, the restraints behind her back gave a faint metallic rattle. *Clink... clink...* She subtly tugged at them again, testing whether there was any looseness she could exploit. The cuffs barely moved. Haruka frowned and let out a quiet, frustrated breath. “Where are you taking me now?” she asked. “Back to your cell,” the knight replied calmly. Haruka's shoulders sank. “My cell... again?” “Yes. You will also be given a change of clothes.” Haruka glanced down at her unusual outfit, then sighed. “A change of clothes...” She made another small attempt to shift her restrained hands into a more comfortable position. *Clink.* The knight noticed. “Please stop pulling against the restraints.” “I wasn't doing anything!” “You were.” Haruka puffed out her cheeks before reluctantly continuing forward. The stone floor echoed beneath her footsteps while the cuffs softly rattled behind her with every movement. *Clink... clink... clink...* She stared ahead, her expression becoming increasingly defeated. “Argh...” The knight said nothing. Haruka simply continued toward the cell, already wondering what sort of medieval clothing they intended to give her. The chapter ends.
