Suzumiya Haruhi AKA the Weaver

One of the most powerful natural-born metahumans to rise on Earth in recent times, this is Suzumiya Haruhi of Nishinomiya outside Kōbe in Japan's Kansai region. Born with incredible levels of reality warping abilities, her imagination began to run wild, allowing her to twist and change things to an extent that won the attention of both terrestrial and alien — never mind groups from a future timeline! — to monitor her as she subconsciously began to expand her interests into realms that truly beggared the imagination. By the time special agents got close enough to her in hopes of trying to bring her under control — Nagato Yuki (a sentient synthezoid interface of an ancient artificial intelligence known as the Data Integration Thought Entity), Asahina Mikuru (a time traveller from the distant future) and Koizumi Itsuki (a natural-born "esper" psychic representing the junior division of the National Superhuman Affairs Bureau; he simply addresses the group as the "Agency") — someone else took interest: Moroboshi Tariko. For an extreme xenophile like Haruhi, meeting the would-be Trickster of the Show was literally a gift from the heavens themselves! And then Haruhi was Gifted as the Weaver, the Mistress of Time and Space. Her first reaction on seeing what her subconscious did: "Oops!" Naturally, fellow Kansai native Kasuga Ayumu (Infinity) got involved and both quickly cleaned up the mess Haruhi had made of Nishinomiya, much to the relief of her normal friend Sugita Tomobazu AKA "Kyon". Once altered to the true nature of her new club of friends, Haruhi elected to form a volunteer special phenomena research group, the SOS Brigade, which took charge of looking at odd phenomena. And, much to the relief of everyone in the Japanese government from the normal ministries to the Eight Magical Commanderies (the regional magical supervisory agencies as seen in Mahō Sensei Negima) to the Men in Black and to the NSAB themselves, the SOS Brigade began making an impact on things that truly went beyond the pale; it was Haruhi who discovered the truth of middle school student Hitotsubashi Yurie of nearby Onomichi when she was vaulted into the power-range of an honest-to-goodness living arahitogami ("divine spirit in the form of man") in the spring before the main story in TEOTC began. One of the so-called "Quadrumvirate of Yiziba" — the four most powerful reality-warpers native to the World of the Forge — Haruhi concentrates her abilities in managing the flow of time stream, the creation/destruction of alternate timelines, the creation/destruction of pocket dimensions which could harm the mainline dimension she lives in as well as help with invaders from other multiverses; this would have her and her counterparts join forces with Taylor Hebert (Skitter) to destroy several entities in a replay of the Gold Morning incident that befell the insect mistress' home multiverse. Power-wise, she ranks second behind Ayumu herself.
