The color of sunset
Not every story would have a happy ending. Not every journey would end with people being together. They didn't know how much time had passed. Everywhere had a mark of her existence, how she had helped the people just for them to followed in her footsteps and did the same. Not meeting for too long made people forget slowly, and yet listening to others' stories was enough to remind them of her face, her smile, her gentleness. She was powerful, they grew up believing that. And yet, that figure still fell one day, corrupted and ended up pointing her blade at them. The fight was brutal, with her performing deadly attacks while they tried not to hurt the woman who raised them as her own children. The moment their weapons pierced through the monster-like vessel, it felt like something within them just broke. She stood there, hair had turned white and eyes dyed with color of blood. However, that gentle smile was still there as her figure slowly disappeared as the sun went down. "In the next life, let's live happily ever after, okay?"
