Gakupo Kamui let his long purple ponytail hang loose, the small black horns on his head trembling slightly with his quiet laughter. He sat leaning against the jack-o'-lantern, one knee drawn up, idly watching the rain of candy falling from above. Colorful wrappers fluttered in the golden light like a flock of butterflies that refused to sleep. "Gaku, do you think time will really stop here?" Megurine Luka sat hugging her knees beside him, her long pink hair spread across the sand, her fox tail curled lazily behind her. Her ears twitched, and her blue eyes sparkled. "Tonight, it will." Gakupo turned his head, his voice gentle. "After all, this is a night I secretly borrowed from the moon." Luka burst out laughing.
