If your inner demon had a physical form, what would it look like?

Perhaps it would be a giant monster that always follows behind you, a shadow lurking in the corner of your room, a little creature perched on your shoulder and whispering into your ear, or an otherworldly being that only you can see—something both frightening and impossible to let go of.

Turn those emotions that are difficult to put into words into your very own “inner demon monster.”

✦ Creative Theme

Create a fantasy creature that represents an inner emotion, trauma, or obsession.

It can symbolize:

Sadness, loneliness, anxiety, fear, insecurity, jealousy, anger, regret, emptiness, attachment, longing, obsession…

You are not limited to negative emotions. You can also combine multiple conflicting emotions into a single monster.

✦ Artwork Requirements

Your artwork must feature a clearly designed “Inner Demon Monster / Emotional Creature.”

The creature may take the form of:

A gigantic creature
A mythical or fantastical beast
A transformed dragon, wolf, bird, fish, insect, or other animal
A humanoid aberration
A life-form made of shadows, mist, liquid, or an undefined substance
A creature that is cute yet strangely unsettling
An abstract or surreal embodiment of emotion

You are also encouraged to portray a unique relationship between a character and their inner demon, such as:

Companionship, dependence, confrontation, escape, symbiosis, taming, embracing, devouring—or even an existence in which the two can no longer be separated.

Any art style is welcome, and your inner demon does not have to be dark or frightening.

Sadness might be a soft, enormous white beast.
Anxiety might be covered in countless eyes.
Loneliness might be a transparent whale drifting above a city.
Jealousy might even take the form of a peacock so beautiful that you cannot look away.

Give it whatever form belongs uniquely to you.

There is no need to imitate the monster shown in the event's main visual.
