Viewed from a low camera angle in a cowboy shot, inside a vast dungeon chamber of rough-hewn grey stone blocks, a single plump dancer with dark skin and long purple hair bound in a high ponytail with a thick loose tail sweeping down over her shoulder twists mid-dance: hips swung hard to her left, torso leaning forward and down toward the camera with her back arched, weight carried on the ball of her left foot with her right heel lifted off the flagstones. Her right hand is pressed flat and spread against her own right waist, fingers digging into the soft plump curve of her waist just above the gold coin belt, thumb pointing up; her left arm is flung high overhead with the elbow loose. The glowing red womb tattoo sits low on her belly below the navel, a closed ornate sigil whose red light pools in the shallow crease of her belly and seams across her plump waist beside her grabbing fingers. Her eyes are half-lidded, turned down and to her right toward the low camera, lips parted, one brow slightly raised. Midriff bare, red cropped top, gold coin belt swinging out from her hip, gold armbands and bracers, red harem pants banded with gold. Hair and the tail of the ponytail swing forward past her shoulder with the turn; the coin belt lags and clacks outward against the direction she snapped her hips.
The chamber is warm-lit by dozens of candles in iron sconces and clustered directly on the flagstone floor in the foreground, out of focus and huge at the frame edge, and every flame points slightly away from the camera. They are the only light source: the warm orange light strikes the undersides of her jaw, chin, chest and belly and the raised left arm, catching a hard specular edge on the bracers and on the gold coins, while the stone behind her falls into near-black unlit mass beyond the candle pool. Her cast shadow climbs the wall behind and to her right, sharpened and stretched by the low light. Palette is restricted to hot candle orange, deep red of her garments and the tattoo's glow, warm dark umber stone, and the purple mass of her hair. Quiet, smouldering.
