The camera looks down from above and slightly to one side, close on the upper body: a fluffy orange-furred creature with a huge cream mane wrapped around her neck, big pointed fox-like ears swiveling back, and a thick bushy cream-tipped tail curling out behind her hip into the grass. She is caught mid-squirm, seated on sunlit grass with her weight thrown onto her left hip, her right shoulder hunching up toward her ear as she twists away — the tickling fingertips press into the soft fur above her left ribs, her own paws clamped over her belly, both forepaws curled and one hind paw kicking loose. Her head tips back and to the right, chin lifted, eyes squeezed shut into happy crescents beneath a scrunched brow, mouth wide open in a helpless giggle, tongue just visible, a hot flush across her muzzle and the insides of her ears. Her ears fold back and her mane fur rumples where the fingers dig in; the tail gives a stiff startled flick, its tip sweeping a dent through the loose grass. Afternoon sun rakes in low from the upper left, rimming the top of her mane and the grass blades while her throat and the underside of her chin fall into soft warm shadow, and a short dark shadow pools under her hip. Palette is warm orange, cream and lit green, nothing colder. The grass under her hip is pressed flat in a broad crushed patch, a few blades springing back up. Fond, silly, sun-warm.
