Seen from above and slightly to her left, a single cute demon girl leans far forward toward the lens, both feet close together with her weight tipped onto her right foot, her left heel lifted off the ground behind her. Two tiny black horns, no longer than a thumbnail, push up through her bangs just above her brow. Her right eye is squeezed shut in a wink, the left eye wide and bright and aimed straight at the viewer, and one corner of her mouth is pulled up into a lopsided grin with a hint of tooth. Both hands are clasped around the white stick of a fat swirl lollipop, the candy a spiral of orange and violet, held up beside her cheek so the flat disc catches the light; her knuckles press together around the stick and the candy edge nearly brushes her jaw. She wears a short purple velvet dress that creases and lifts at the hem as she tips forward, a black lace collar sitting flat over her collarbones, and black stockings on both legs, her lifted left toe pointed down.
On the floor at her feet sits a carved orange jack-o'-lantern, its cut eyes and jagged mouth facing up toward the camera, and her long thin pointed tail sweeps out from behind her hip, runs down across the pumpkin's shoulder and coils twice around its body, the arrow tip resting flat against the gourd's rind where the tail squeezes it. A short candle burns inside the pumpkin, its light spilling out through the carved mouth and eyes onto the underside of her chin, the inner faces of her forearms and the near side of her tail, while the top of her head and the shoulders of her dress fall into a deeper violet shadow. The floor is dark and plain, the background a seamless near-black, so the only bright things in the frame are the glowing pumpkin, the swirl of the lollipop and the wink. Halloween-sweet, mischievous.
