The camera sits level and low, looking straight on with no tilt, the horizon line cutting through the middle of the frame across a wide open field of sun-bleached grass that runs unbroken to a low, empty ridge in the far distance; the sky behind both figures is a hard clear blue, empty of cloud so that the auras have nothing to compete with. In the left half of the frame the yellow-haired young man hangs high off the ground, torso twisted so his chest opens toward the lens and his left shoulder rolls forward with the reach, his extra long yellow hair streaming sideways in a single mass, half of it gathered back into the white hair tie and half whipping loose across his cheek. His left arm drives straight up out of frame toward the sky, the fist at the top engulfed in a massive blaze that tapers into a trailing tail of flame streaming back past his forearm, embers peeling off it and rising. His left knee is hauled up hard against his ribs, the black baggy pants bunching at the hip, while his right leg hangs straight down with the bare foot pointed; below that foot the grass flattens outward in a visible ring and the loose shredded hem of his red torn sleeveless karate gi snaps back away from his body, the open front of the gi blown aside so the white belt knotted at his waist and his bare chest both catch the light. His black thin-gloved right fist is held low at his side, also sheathed in flame, and the flames from both hands throw warm orange light up his underside along with the fierce yellow of the energy boiling off his whole silhouette — the aura brightest where it leaves the outline of his shoulders and the ends of his hair. His eyes are blue, narrowed, jaw set, fixed hard on the second man floating across from him. On the right side of the frame the light-brown-haired young man floats at the same height, short hair lifted, the extra long red bandana knotted under it holding its tail whipped out sideways past his temple. His right arm is speared up into the air, the red MMA glove at the end wrapped in a roaring ball of fire that licks up and spills away behind his elbow. His right knee is drawn up while his left leg hangs straight and long beneath him, the baggy white karate pants and the tucked-in yellow tanktop both pulled taut and streaming, the long black karate belt thrashing out past his hip in the wind. His brown eyes are wide and locked on his opponent. A massive white aura blasts off his body, cooler and harder than the yellow across from it, and directly under his bare feet the packed ground has cracked and shattered, plates of earth lifting and pebbles thrown up and hanging as they fly, the fracture radiating outward in a rough circle. Both figures are drawn into the same level frame with roughly equal size, layers ordered so each aura sits behind its own fighter and the two clouds of energy meet and interleave in the space between them, neither dissolving the other. Light comes from the two power sources themselves — yellow on the left, white on the right — so the left man is rim-lit hot ochre and the right man rim-lit cool white, both faces partly in shadow on their inner sides, and the grass below carries both colors as two soft pools under the hovering feet. Palette: bleached-gold grass and pale blue sky, red and yellow and white on the figures. Crisp cel-outlined linework with glossy, high-finish rendering, warm blended skin highlights and soft light falloff. Sweat and dust hang motionless in the air between them. Explosive, charged.
