The camera sits low and close to the floor, looking up at a single white female cat standing upright on two legs, so her figure rises tall against an empty pale grey studio sweep with no horizon, no furniture and no props. She is caught mid-hop: her left paw-foot is planted flat and bears all her weight, the right leg is lifted with the knee drawn up and the toes curled, and the pink full-body tights stretch taut and slightly brighter over the ball of the planted foot. The tights cover her completely from the base of her jaw down over her throat, shoulders, torso, hips, legs and right to the paws, glossy neon pink spandex that clings and creases in fine wrinkles behind the raised knee, over the hip and at the armpits. Her white fur is left bare only where the suit stops: the face, the muzzle, the whiskers and the two upright triangular ears, whose inner surfaces are soft shell-pink and whose white fur catches the key light along the outer edges. Her long white tail sweeps out to her right and up, lifted by the upward motion, tip curling. Both arms are flung up and out, paws open with the small pads just visible on the undersides, the tights smooth over her forearms. Her head tilts toward her raised shoulder and her eyes look off to the side, away from the lens, one eye squeezed shut in a wink while the other is bright and wide; her mouth is open in a delighted, lopsided grin that shows a small pointed canine and the tip of a pink tongue, and her whiskers fan forward with the hop. A single soft key light comes from the upper left and slightly behind her, rimming the white ear fur and the top of the tail in cool white and laying a soft, faint shadow on the floor to her lower right; the glossy pink tights carry one long narrow specular highlight down the front of her thigh and shoulder that bends around the curve of the body. Palette is restricted to glossy neon pink, white fur and a near-white grey ground, nothing else admitted. Playful, springy.
