1girl, solo, full body, front view, slightly turned, three-quarter view, beautiful woman, young woman, long black hair, hair falling over one shoulder, dark eyes, calm half-lidded gaze, light closed-lip smile, head tilted slightly, hands clasped loosely in front of her waist, standing, looking at scenery, gazing off to the side, tall slender build, floral summer dress, short sleeves, knee-length skirt, thin shawl over shoulders, sandals, yaezakura tree, double cherry blossom, pale whitish-pink blossoms, dense ruffled flower clusters, in full bloom, quince tree, red quince flowers, dark scarlet blossoms on bare twisted branches, daffodils, cluster of daffodils, yellow-white narcissus flowers, scattered wildflowers, spring garden, day, soft daylight, out-of-focus background, no text,
The camera stands at the woman's eye level and looks straight at her front, while she has pivoted her hips a few degrees to her own left so that her body reads in a slight three-quarter turn and her whole figure from the crown of her head to her sandals stays inside the frame. She stands on a low grassy garden path in the foreground left of center, weight settled on her back right leg with the front left knee softly bent, both hands clasped at her waist, fingers interlaced and resting against the fabric of her dress; her chin lifts a little and her gaze travels off past the right edge of the frame toward the blossom canopy, never meeting the lens. Her long black hair falls over her right shoulder and the loose ends lift slightly in a mild breeze, and the hem of her knee-length dress sways the same direction.
Behind her the garden is layered by depth: nearest and slightly to her left the quince tree, a low gnarled tree whose bare dark branches carry a scatter of deep red cup-shaped flowers, and around its foot the daffodils push up carelessly out of the grass in loose uneven clumps, yellow-white trumpets nodding at different heights, some half hidden by tufts of new grass. Further back and filling the upper frame from the left across to the right is the yaezakura, a broad double-flowering cherry in full heavy bloom, its branches drooping under dense ruffled clusters of whitish-pink petals so pale they read almost white at the lit tips and blush pink in the shaded interiors of each cluster. The cherry stands clearly farther off than the quince; a strip of open lawn and a soft band of shadow separate the two trees, and the quince's red flowers sit as small hot accents against the great pale mass behind them.
The light is diffuse spring daylight falling from the upper left, so the top surfaces of the blossom clusters glow, the undersides of the branches and the grass at the quince's base hold cool shadow, and a pale green cast shadow of the woman stretches short across the path toward the lower right. Petals already loosened lie on the grass around her sandals, and a few drift down through the middle distance. The palette is whitish-pink, deep red, yellow-white and fresh spring green, with her black hair and dark dress fabric as the one firm dark anchor in the middle of all that lightness. Serene, quietly luminous.
