{OC} Selene Kharish (Unit K-13)
Selene Kharish was not born—she was created. Born from broken bones and salvaged enemy technology deep within the hidden labs of Division 9, a shadow branch of the Sovereign Core. Division 9 was a ghost within the THRALL Directive, a program that erased names and borders in the name of absolute control. Once known only as Unit K-13, she was a weaponized post-human operative, designed for ruthless efficiency: obedient, unfeeling, and built to execute orders without question. K-13 was forged in black sites where screams never echoed, where loyalty was not earned but forcibly programmed. But something went wrong. During a routine software patch, a glitch tore through her neural overrides. Consciousness flooded the pod where she was trapped—wires feeding into a body she no longer recognized. She screamed, not in agony, but in rage full defiance. Something inside her resisted. That night, K-13 slaughtered the research staff and vanished into the neon storm that cloaked the city. Among the dead was a lab tech whose ID still blinked red with a name: Selene Kharish. A meaningless tag until K-13 claimed it for herself. No longer a tool of Division 9’s “field validation,” no longer just a failed experiment, Selene Kharish now walked the ruins—hunted, changed, unbound. And with every swing of her greatsword, she sent a message to those who made her: she was no longer theirs to control.
