Never know what is precious to you till it's gone
Most people tend to celebrate with their mothers with flowers, gifts, appreciation., but some of us don't get that opportunity to do so anymore. This cruel loveless world reminds me this everyday, "That nothing good lasts forever." Everyone is destined to die one day, but we don't get the choice to know when we die ourselves. Do not try to understand that pain someone is going through. You can sympathize, you can say you actually know how that feels. But it's only your pain that no one can understand that, nor can they try to understand. "You'll be okay," "Everything will get better," "You'll pull through it," "It'll take time," "They're in a better place;" I heard those same words over and over again. They are just hollow and empty, like a broken record repeating the same line of the song over and over again. Do not seek pity from others, do not try to give them "comforting words," do not pretend to "understand what someone is going through." Because at the end of the day, only you understand your pain, and no one else. That is the cruel truth of reality...
