Janji di Ujung Panggung - Vocaloid GakupoXLuka
💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 A Promise at the End of the Stage The stage lights slowly dimmed. After the final song ended, the audience was still glowing with a sea of purple and pink light sticks. Those lights were like stars floating in the darkness, reflected in Gakupo’s violet eyes and in Luka’s clear blue gaze. They stood side by side at the center of the stage, microphones in hand, yet for a moment, neither of them spoke. The applause continued. Someone called their names. “GAKUPO—!” “LUKA—!” The voices surged from every direction like waves, and also like a gentle embrace. Gakupo lowered his head and smiled softly before raising his microphone. “Every time I stand here, I remember the first time I spoke to all of you.” The audience quieted a little. Everyone was listening. His voice was no longer as sharp and dazzling as when he sang. Instead, it was gentle. “Back then, I thought that as long as I sang well enough, that would be enough. But the first time I heard you call my name, I realized… the stage was never meant to belong to just one person.” Luka turned to look at him. She remembered that day. It was the first time they had stood together on a large stage. Gakupo had looked calm on the surface, and he had even managed to joke with the audience. But after they left the stage, the hand holding his microphone had been trembling slightly. That day, a fan in the front row had shouted loudly: “You’re not alone!” Gakupo remembered those words for a very long time. So long that every time he walked onto a stage, he would think of them. Luka also lifted her microphone, her gaze sweeping across the sea of lights. “I remember many voices too.” She smiled, her voice like moonlight flowing slowly through the night. “Someone once told me, ‘Thank you for letting your song stay with me through a painful night.’ Someone else said, ‘When I heard you sing, I found the courage to face tomorrow again.’” She paused for a moment, her expression growing even softer. “But what I want to tell you is… we feel the same way.” A small wave of surprise rose from the audience. Luka tightened her grip on the microphone. “There were nights when we were exhausted too, and it was your messages that helped us stand up again. There were times when we felt we were not good enough, but when we heard you say, ‘That was beautiful,’ we found the courage to sing the next song.” Gakupo looked at the lights swaying below the stage, and it was as though he could see memory after memory within them. He remembered the girl at a signing event who had been so nervous that she stuttered, yet still handed them a letter with trembling hands and tearful eyes. “Thank you for making me fall in love with music.” He remembered an outdoor performance on a rainy day, when the fans were soaked but still held up their signs and smiled at them. He also remembered one concert, after it had ended, when someone turned back before leaving and shouted: “Let’s meet again next time!” That phrase, “next time,” became the reason they endured countless difficult rehearsals. Gakupo took a soft breath. “There are some things I’ve never been good at saying out loud.” Luka could not help laughing. “You’re saying them very well now.” Laughter rose from the audience. Gakupo gave her a helpless look, but the corners of his mouth lifted too. “That’s because you’re beside me.” Luka froze for a brief moment. Pink light fell across her face, making her expression look even gentler than usual. Gakupo looked back at the audience. “And also because all of you are here.” His voice carried through the speakers and filled the entire venue. “Thank you for always speaking to us. Thank you for giving us your love, your expectations, your encouragement, and even your tears.” Luka continued: “We have received every one of those words.” She lifted her hand and gently placed it over her heart. “Truly.” People in the audience began to shout: “We love you!” “Don’t cry!” “Keep singing forever!” Those voices overlapped. They were not perfectly in sync, and some were even a little messy, but they were more real than any harmony. Luka’s eyes became slightly red, but she still smiled. “You all always do this. You make it so hard for us to finish speaking properly.” Gakupo gave a deliberate little cough. “Then let’s sing it instead.” Luka looked at him. “Encore?” “Yeah.” Gakupo reached out his hand. This time, it was not for stage effect, nor was it part of the choreography. It was simply natural for him to reach toward her. Luka looked at him, then took his hand. The audience instantly erupted into even louder cheers. Gakupo looked out at the crowd, his long purple hair gently swaying beneath the lights. “This song is for all of you who have always spoken to us.” Luka smiled and added: “And for everyone who has ever used our songs to keep themselves company.” The intro began. Purple and pink lights intertwined once more. They stood at the center of the stage, hand in hand, facing the sea of stars their fans had created. At that moment, what they remembered was not how loud the applause had been, nor how bright the stage lights were. What they remembered were the voices that had reached them from the audience, from letters, from comments, and from memories. “Thank you.” “See you next time.” “Your song saved me.” “Please keep singing.” And so, they sang. For themselves. For each other. And for everyone who had once stood in the darkness, still trying their best to lift a small light. --- Indonesian Lampu panggung perlahan meredup. Mata Luka sedikit memerah, tetapi ia tetap tersenyum. “Kalian selalu seperti ini. Kalian membuat kami sulit menyelesaikan kata-kata kami dengan benar.” Gakupo sengaja berdeham kecil. “Kalau begitu, mari kita sampaikan lewat lagu.” Luka menatapnya. “Encore?” “Iya.” Gakupo mengulurkan tangannya.
