Rosaura Aquillus

Although Rosaura was a cold and distant person throughout her life—seemingly indifferent to those around her and always focused on her work—the truth was that she loved one thing above all else: her daughter, Priscilla. In her own way—though she knew it might not have been the right one—Rosaura always tried to care for Priscilla and secure a future for her. However, her personality almost worked against her, as she failed to perceive the true intentions of the group of scientists with whom she worked. Rosaura eventually discovered, too late, that she had been working on the implementation of genetic compounds based on "Corrupt Blood"—compounds intended to create supersoldiers that their creators would use as weapons of mass destruction. The rationality she had always championed nearly shattered when she grasped the insidious nature of the project; she had just enough time to escape with Priscilla, though tragically, that very day—late in the year 4175 AD—global tensions finally unleashed an apocalyptic cataclysm upon Earth. Rosaura and Priscilla survived, but to Rosaura's horror, they were ambushed by scavengers while scavenging for supplies on the surface of Dolorosa. She was even more horrified when a dark-skinned woman with silver hair appeared almost by chance, saving them both and displaying superhuman abilities—thereby confirming to Rosaura that the supersoldiers and her former scientific group had indeed survived.
