【LORA】Orias (Goetia)

One of the 72 demons listed in the *Goetia*, holding the rank of 59th. A Great Marquis who commands 30 legions. Illustrations in texts such as the *Dictionnaire Infernal* depict the demon appearing—upon being summoned—as a lion riding a pale horse, accompanied by two great serpents (though accounts vary). Said to be well-versed in astronomy, Orias can teach the positions of the planets and the virtues of the stars. This demon also possesses the power to transform people, bestow status, and increase the favorability others feel toward the subject—affecting not only friends but even enemies. For anyone troubled by their appearance or interpersonal relationships, this is surely a demon one would want to summon immediately. Like Vepar—featured the previous day—Orias is a demon with the form of a lion; given the ability to influence favorability, I decided to portray the character as female. I initially considered making her a lioness, but for some reason, the anthropomorphic design didn't quite work out, so I settled on a beautiful woman with animal ears instead. Consequently, I’ve established a setting where she and Vepar are a married couple. To you, thinking, "I'm so jealous—having such a cute beauty for a wife!": Let me tell you, she isn't exactly a sweet, easygoing woman. (￣▽￣;)
