Nesia-chan’s Earth Journal No. 9: Fashion Trap After I finished my bath, I quietly put my old clothes back on. Then Karta saw me and immediately frowned. Before I could even ask what was wrong, she grabbed my hand and pulled me straight into her room. She told me I should wear her clothes instead, and that my old clothes could be cleaned later. How kind...! Of course I agreed right away. I was truly grateful. Karta looked so excited as she opened her wardrobe and started picking out clothes for me. She handed me a set with a bright smile and told me to try it on. So I did. Then I looked at myself and froze. T-This is too much...! The top showed my shoulders, and the skirt felt so short that I kept wanting to pull it down. My face grew hot at once. Karta burst into laughter. Instead of helping me, she picked up her strange pink object called a smartphone and started pointing it at me again and again. Tiny clicking sounds filled the room while she kept saying I was so cute. I tried to cover myself and protest, but that only seemed to amuse her even more. Then I finally understood. I had been tricked...! Karta did not lend me those clothes because they were convenient. She chose them because she wanted to see me make this exact face! How mean...! And yet, while she laughed so brightly, I could not even stay properly angry. I was still embarrassed, though. Very, very embarrassed!
