Lillya

This is my Lillya. She’s a sweet little thing, always smiling and finding some silly way to make everyone around her smile. She loves pretty clothes, especially that little black-and-white dress of hers. She takes such pride in it, too. Every morning, she’ll carefully fix her collar and make sure everything looks just right before coming downstairs. She can be a little mischievous, but she has the gentlest heart. She gets embarrassed easily, laughs at the smallest things, and somehow manages to brighten the room just by being there. To everyone else, she might just look like a cheerful young girl in a pretty dress. But to me, she’s still my little girl—the one who used to reach for my hand whenever she was nervous, and who would smile so proudly whenever I told her how beautiful she looked.
