Amid a violent storm, the Wild Hunt towers over Edmond Dantès. Edmond stands alone in the courtyard of Château d’If, his cape billowing dramatically in the howling wind giving the viewer his back. Infront of him, the ancient prison castle rises through the rain and darkness. Yet the Wild Hunt is so immense that it appears larger than the castle’s towers themselves, its monstrous presence dwarfing the entire fortress. Lightning illuminates the colossal figure above Edmond, creating a stark contrast between the lone Avenger and the overwhelming supernatural force before him.
