Isaac Thomas AKA Doctor Renaissance

Character created by Dr. Tempo for The End of the Circus: A Tale of the Yizibajohei. A hyper-genius polymath, he is an orphaned native of Queens in New York City who was Gifted by finding a crystal containing the powers and memories of previous incarnations of Doctor Renaissance (tag line sobriquet: The Wise Lone Sage) some year before the events of the main story. A self-professed otaku, he turned the knowledge he gained that evening into something which makes him one of the most feared — and by extension, the most respected — Terran-born metahumans alive today. As he grew acclimatized to his capabilities, Isaac would go on a multi-dimensional training trip to learn many things from teachers spanning many works of what are seen as fiction in his home universe. One of those stops was to a galaxy far, far away a long, long time ago where — even if he does not have the ability to manipulate the Force or its local universal equivalent — he taught himself how to make use of a lightsabre; such is coloured consular green out of respect for Qui-Gon Jinn. After his training trip, Isaac took it upon himself to teach newly-Gifted metahumans how to use their abilities.
