The Rainbow Butterfly Bride of Grace and Love
She dreams in the Spirit. Countess Timpany, Titaness of the Pure Heart, the Rainbow Butterfly Bride clothed in Grace. Her large prismatic wings are not for flight—they are the reflection of the light that lives within her. The Holy Spirit dwells within her, and so her dress is white lace with golden crosses, her crown has seven jewels like seven spirits, and her Pure Heart beats with a cross. She sits in the ruins of an old cathedral, but she is not sad. She rests her cheek on her hand, her ice-blue eyes now soft and dreamy. Because standing before her is Tony. Tony, 22, with golden-blond hair and blue eyes, dressed as an assassin with a cross necklace, holding the scythe of light—not to destroy, but to protect what God gave him: her beloved. She thinks: “My Lord gave me wings to shelter him. My Lord gave me love to keep him safe. He is light upon my wings, but heavy in my heart.” Not fire for heaven. But light for him, from heaven. Through her. Romantic. Sacred. It is accomplished.
