Kuriinba Hōrōsha AKA Hazel

My first attempt at doing one of the major female characters of Twenty Years Later. Known simply as "Hazel" when she was first introduced in The Senior Year, she would be revealed to be a hybrid child between a Vosian-Yehisrite woman and an Ipraedies man; this was done under Project: Superwarrior, an attempt by the Ipraedies Empire (one of the Big Bads of TSY) to create a loyal corps of psionic trackers which could be used against all their enemies. This was stumbled onto by Nassur (Mike Smith's main character in TSY) and Benten, which eventually saw the whole project exposed and the hybrid children (fifty-one of them) freed from Ipraedies control. Hazel's journey between TSY and 20YL (about 17 years in character time) was a rough one. First, due to her Yehisrite ancestry (the Yehisrites are the Klingong-like equivalents in the series, similar in looks to their original appearance in Star Trek), she was forced to endure the Test of Life, a wilderness survival exercise which gave her the right to claim one of the sixteen principalities making up the Yehisrite domain as her homeland; among them she is known as "Kuriinba of Kyotos". In Ipraedies records, she is properly known as "Kuriinba Hōrōsha", the latter name being the clan name of her father. When she works as a bounty hunter and auxiliary law enforcement officer, she often uses "Hazel Kuriinba" as she sees herself more as Vosian (and Yehisrite) than Ipraedies. Of course, in the period between TSY and 20YL, Nassur and Benten disappeared; they were being held by Queen Elle (as revealed in Miyake Junba's profile). Hazel was forced to take charge of her fellow hybrids to maintain her missing guardians' business, something that proved quite successful even if further tragedies would weigh her down. Eventually after her guardians were found, she made her way to Earth and encounter Hisaten Hamachi, a Fukunokami-raised Vosian orphan child. Recognition (the Vosian psionic bonding drive) then clicked in and Hazel elected to spend more than a year on Earth being a normal student at Tomobiki High School...even if she still performed her hunter's duties to one degree or another on the side. It should be noted that Hazel's hair is a LOT longer than depicted here as she is still unmarried; hair is not cut by Vosian women until either marriage or discovering they are a lesbian.
