Shanti swallowed by Kaa the python!
Deep in the Indian jungle, Shanti encountered Kaa the python; with no one like Mowgli around to intervene and save her in the nick of time, she was swallowed whole by the enormous, gluttonous serpent. However, she wouldn't stay in his belly forever—sooner or later, Kaa would clumsily spit her out, as was his habit, or a friend would arrive and force him to regurgitate her. In the meantime, she simply lounged in comfort inside Kaa's belly, waiting to be spat out—whether through a rescue or by escaping the gluttonous python's stomach herself.
