Her eyes are closed in a soft expression with a distinct blush warming her cheeks. She wears a sleeveless dusty-pink dress with bare shoulders and arms unobstructed by any jacket, her hands reaching up to clasp the back and shoulders of the girl resting atop her. Positioned directly over her, the other girl lies with her torso pressed flush against the lower girl's chest, her head angled down to join their lips in an affectionate kiss with her own eyes peacefully shut. Her yellow jacket is completely absent, leaving her arms entirely bare from shoulder to wrist as they hook securely around the recumbent girl's neck. Her voluminous pastel pink and light-blue hair spills across the pillows in large bow-shaped loops and twintails adorned with round, bulbous hair ornaments. Under the combined weight of their bodies, the foam pillow and mattress depress deeply, creating distinct radial tension wrinkles that pull across the ivory bedsheets. A bedside lamp casts warm golden light across the scene, throwing soft violet shadows beneath their intertwined arms and illuminating the smooth curve of their bare shoulders. The palette is built on warm ivory linen, muted rose, deep charcoal, and soft candy-pastel tones of pink and cyan. Tender and deeply affectionate.
