A ring of displaced cloud swirls out from the wingtip vortex, revealing how the wings move the air. Palette: deep cold blue and violet sky up top, warm amber and gold on the wing edges and the underlit bellies of the clouds, the creature itself in dark teal with a bright, translucent membrane glow. Nothing but dragon and sky; the composition heavy at the top and opening into empty blue at the bottom. Majestic, heart-lifting.
